Private Walks: Groups and Individuals

Private group forest bathing / nature therapy can be a unique bonding experience for groups of friends, family members, clubs, students, and co-workers. It can be as simple as scheduling a 1.5-hour session with your partner or friend at one of my usual spots, or we can plan a longer, larger group experience at a place that’s special to you. I also offer 1:1 sessions for people who want to try it on their own schedule, with individualized attention.

I’m always exploring new sites (and still figuring out various permitting requirements), but for now my current favorite spots, where I can guide groups of 5 people or less include:

  • Harbert-Payne Park (SW Evanston)

  • Indian Road Woods (NW Chicago)

  • Glenview Woods (Glenview)

  • Caldwell Woods (NW Chicago)

  • Lighthouse Beach (NE Evanston)

I do my best to have my calendar at the below link up to date for about the next month+, but if you don’t see a day/time that works for you there or want to schedule further in the future, please reach out to me.

Public Walks

I offer public walks on my own as well as in collaboration with other partners. My current public walks can be found at the button below. I love to hear from land managers and other groups interested in co-hosting or partnering, so please reach out if you’d like to collaborate!

Virtual / Remotely Guided

Forest bathing / nature therapy over Zoom can be a great option for:

  • people who are housebound or with mobility challenges;

  • people who want to try Forest Therapy more on their own terms;

  • people who don’t have guided walks near them;

  • gathering a group of people who live in different locations.

Let me know if you’re interested in this option!

A note on age-range: Ages 12+. I am seeking out training for expanding my offering to include younger kids and will update soon!
